Currently, Samsung has a lot of work lined up in terms of rolling out software updates to Galaxy phones and tablets. It not only has to roll out Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 to older foldable devices (and also to non-foldable devices, if rumors are true) but also Android 15-based One UI 7.0. While it is yet to release those two software updates, leaks and rumors about Android 15-based One UI 7.1 have already started coming in.
In a new post on X/Twitter, @IceUniverse suggests that One UI 7.1 will offer massive improvements as it will be an important part of the Galaxy S25 series smartphones. These are the tipster's exact words “One UI 7.1 will add more functions because it is an important part of S25.“

Honestly, the news doesn’t surprise us at all because every new version of One UI has brought massive improvements compared to the older one. However, the tipster specifically pointing it out suggests that we could more than usual improvements with One UI 7.1. If that turns out to be true, it would be great for all Samsung fans.
The tipster also says that One UI 7.0 will focus on offering super-smooth animations, which is something they said earlier too. Samsung was supposed to roll out the beta version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 last week. But that didn’t happen. As we exclusively reported, the company will release it in the third week of this month.
