Usually, Samsung launches a new Galaxy S series with three models: Regular, Plus, and Ultra. However, the brand is expected to launch the Galaxy S27 lineup with four devices, with the additional model being the Galaxy S27 Pro. This phone is said to be aimed at people who want the features of the Ultra model but not its S Pen.
This will allow the brand to either make the device more compact or pack it with more features. To that extent, the Galaxy S27 Pro was expected to feature the same camera setup as the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Now, a new leak about the device brings contradictory information.
On Weibo, a popular tipster, Ice Universe claims that the primary and the ultra-wide cameras on the Galaxy S27 Pro will be the same as those on the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and these will be brand new camera sensors. However, they say that the Pro model will have a different telephoto camera compared to that of the Ultra model.
