Samsung has released a software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in its home country, South Korea. It brings the July 2026 security patch, which fixes 57 security issues present in the previous firmware of these devices.
The update is 560.77MB in size and carries firmware version S93xNKSSBCZG3 (via Tarun Vats). Going by the brand's software update rollout history for Galaxy phones, it sh₹ould release the latest security patch for the three phones in other regions soon.
To check the availability of the July 2026 security patch for your Galaxy S25, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Speaking of updates for the three phones, Samsung has started developing One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for them, its latest Android skin for its phones.
One UI 9.0 offers more UI customization options and new features. You can check them out here or in our video below. According to multiple reports, the company will showcase its stable version for the first time with its next foldable phones later this month. It should arrive on older phones soon after.
