Samsung has revealed details about its July 2026 security patch for Galaxy phones and tablets. The company’s latest security bulletin outlines the vulnerabilities addressed by the new update.
According to Samsung, the July 2026 security patch fixes a total of 57 security vulnerabilities. Of those, 41 are Android Security Bulletins (ASB) patches provided by Google, while the remaining 16 are Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) addressed by Samsung. The update fixes five critical vulnerabilities. It also includes fixes for 42 high-severity vulnerabilities and seven moderate-severity vulnerabilities.
Most of the vulnerabilities addressed by this security patch affect devices running Android 14, Android 15, or Android 16.
Samsung hasn’t released the July 2026 security patch for any eligible Galaxy phones or tablets yet, but it is expected to begin rolling it out this week or next week. The patch could also be included in the upcoming One UI 9.0 Beta 4 update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
