TL;DR

  • The Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra have appeared in Google Play Console listings after earlier Bluetooth SIG certifications.
  • Samsung has already said the new flagship tablets will launch in the second half of the year, with both Wi‑Fi and 5G versions expected.
  • Expected upgrades include a new chipset, minor design changes, and possibly One UI 9.0 preinstalled, while prices may rise.

Samsung is almost done with its flagship product launches of this year, with the new high-end tablets now being the only ones awaited.

Additional signs have now emerged that Samsung is getting its ducks in a row ahead of the impending launch of the Galaxy Tab S12 series.

Samsung's already confirmed H2 2026 launch

Just last week, the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra were certified by Bluetooth SIG. They carry model numbers SM-X840 and SM-X946, respectively.

Both the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra have now been spotted in the supported devices list for the Google Play Console. As we've seen in the past, Samsung will launch both 5G and Wi-Fi only iterations of the new tablets.

Samsung did confirm recently that it will launch the new flagship tablets in the second half of this year, so no surprises that it's now appearing in these lists. What the company hasn't revealed right now are the changes that we can expect from the new products.

At the very least, we can expect a new chipset under the hood in addition to some cosmetic improvements. These may also be the first Samsung Galaxy tablets to come with One UI 9.0 out of the box.

No word as yet on the pricing, but given how prices for Samsung's new products have trended upward this year, it's quite likely that the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra may cost more than the models they replace.
