The Galaxy A54 is Samsung's most prominent mid-range phone of 2023. And compared to previous Galaxy A5x devices, this year's model boasts a few more high-grade characteristics, such as a 50MP primary camera with PDAF and OIS, a Gorilla Glass back panel, and a 1,000 nits display that supports Vision Booster for enhanced color accuracy and visibility in bright environments.

Without the ongoing 15% Student Discount, the Galaxy A54 costs $449. But what if you own an older Galaxy A5x model and you want to exchange it for a discount on the Galaxy A54?

~~$15~~ $150 trade-in discount for the Galaxy A50.
~~$45~~ $150 trade-in discount for the Galaxy A51 and A51 5G.
~~$70~~ $180 trade-in discount for the Galaxy A52 5G.
~~$85~~ $259 trade-in discount for the Galaxy A53.

We also looked at a few other Galaxy A devices. You can get $170 off instead of $55 if you exchange the Galaxy A71 for the newer Galaxy A54. And if you want to trade the Galaxy A32 5G for the Galaxy A54, you get a $160 discount, up from $45.
