Earlier this year, Google added the notifications section to the mobile version of the Google search website. Now, the company giving the same treatment to the Google app for Android. The latest beta version of the Google app for Android (version 15.20) has a ‘Notifications’ tab in the bottom bar (via 9To5Google).

This tab contains all notifications that the app sends you, including the ones for weather, sports scores, flight information, availability of movies and TV shows, word of the day, and much more. So, even if you clear a notification from the app by mistake, you can find those here. Every notification will have a three-dot icon. Clicking on it will bring up three options: Delete, Don’t get notifications like this, and Send feedback.

Reportedly, Google is rolling out the update to a limited number of people. Expect the company to make it available more widely over the next few days. Google should push the new feature to the public in the next couple of months after testing it thoroughly in the beta version of the app. In the meantime, you can watch our video above to check out all the exciting new features that One UI 6.1 brings to the Galaxy phones/tablets.
