The pre-booking period ended late last week, and by the end, Samsung recorded more than 100K pre-bookings for the two devices combined. The company hasn't revealed the ratio between the two foldable models in India. If it's anything like South Korea and Taiwan, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 may have outperformed the Z Fold 4 6-to-4.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 pre-order bonuses in most markets were rather disappointing compared to Samsung's previous models. In most regions, pre-order customers didn't get a pair of earbuds or a Galaxy smartwatch, but instead, they could claim a $200 discount on other products available at Samsung.com.
In India, however, Galaxy Z Fold 4 customers get a massive discount on the 46mm Bluetooth-only Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The latter usually costs INR 34,999 ($438), but Z Fold 4 customers can buy the smartwatch for just INR 2,999 ($37). Similarly, Galaxy Z Flip 4 customers can buy the smaller 42mm Galaxy Watch Classic for the same INR 2,999 price instead of INR 31,999 ($400).
Samsung India is now selling the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 for the starting prices of INR 154,999 ($1,942) and INR 89,999 ($1,127), respectively. The Z Fold 4 is available in Graygreen, Beige, and Phantom Black, whereas the Z Flip 4 comes in Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, and a ton of Bespoke Edition color combinations.
