The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is Samsung's latest and greatest foldable device and it stole the spotlight today at Unpacked Part 2. It shapes up to be an exciting sequel to the original Galaxy Fold but it remains a fairly large phone-tablet hybrid that's not going to be appealing to everyone. Fortunately for Samsung fans who may be looking at the Galaxy Z Flip as a foldable alternative, the clamshell device is now available in the USA at a discount.

For a limited-time only, the original Galaxy Z Flip LTE is available in the USA for $1,299, down from the full $1,379 price. In addition to the discount, Samsung USA is sweetening this limited-time deal with the addition of a free Galaxy Z Flip Leather Cover. The accessory costs $79.99 when purchased separately. The deal doesn't apply to the newer Galaxy Z Flip 5G model that was released in the USA last month.

Samsung USA is also accepting smartphones with cracked screens in exchange for a lower price through its trade-in program. Exchanging your damaged smartphone for the Galaxy Z Flip will drop the foldable's price to as low as $909, while exchanging a fully-functioning handset can lower the price even further to $799.

The latest offer is available for the Galaxy Z Flip LTE in Mirror Black and Mirror Purple, and customers ordering the device now will receive it in the mail by September 3. Check the links below for more details.
