The Z6 foldable phone series and the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup will be announced in the second half of 2024, however, nuggets of information about these unannounced products are already showing up online.
The latest bit of news concerns the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Tab S10+, in particular. Two barely related devices, for sure. But it just so happens that they've shown up online on the BIS certification website.
Or, more specifically, their batteries have seemingly popped up at BIS (via 91mobiles).
It is believed that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 will carry model number SM-F741, whereas the Galaxy Tab S10+ might be identified by model number SM-X828 (via @rquandt). It makes sense, seeing how the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Tab S9+ have model numbers SM-F731 and SM-X810/SM-X816, respectively.
Well, similar model numbers for a couple of Samsung batteries have now popped up at BIS. They correspond to the alleged Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Tab S10+ model numbers.
These batteries are identified as EB-BF742ABE and EB-BF742ABY for the foldable phone, and EB-BX828ABE / EB-BX828ABY for the upcoming tablet.
BIS doesn't reveal any specifications for these batteries, but we learned a couple of weeks ago that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is equipped with two units, each of which has a slightly larger capacity than the dual batteries used by the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
As for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the other two expected models in the tablet series i.e., Tab S10 and S10 Ultra, battery capacities are unknown. But we wouldn't be surprised if they'd be the same as last year and the Tab S10+ had a 10,090 unit with 45W charging. We'll keep you posted once we find out more.
