The US variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (SM-F711U and SM-F711U1) received the FCC certification earlier today. The documentation reveals that the foldable phone supports eleven 5G bands, fifteen LTE bands, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth (with EDR and LE), NFC, and 9W Qi wireless charging. An earlier certification (CCC) had revealed a few days ago that the phone supports fast wired charging (at 15W).
Going by earlier leaks and reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 could feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. On the front, it could come with a larger cover display (1.83-inch) compared to its predecessor. The foldable could come equipped with the Snapdragon 888, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 3,300mAh battery. The phone could be 20% cheaper than the Galaxy Z Flip.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 could have a 10MP selfie camera on the foldable screen and a 12MP+12MP dual-camera setup on the rear (when opened). Both front and rear-facing cameras could be capable of recording 4K 60fps videos. Other features could include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, USB 3.1 Type-C port, Samsung Pay, and an official IP rating for dust and water resistance. It lacks UWB, though.
