  • It reportedly gets a 5,000-nit OLED display, an IP69K rating, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip.
  • The battery is said to be 800mAh, about 35% larger than the original Galaxy Watch Ultra’s battery.

Samsung cannot seem to stop leaks of its upcoming devices. A new leak has revealed nearly all the key improvements the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will bring. The wearable will be officially announced on July 22, but its design and most of its specifications have now leaked.

Leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has revealed Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 marketing material in his Substack newsletter. The smartwatch has a squircle-shaped titanium case and comes bundled with a silicone watch band. More importantly, it appears to be 12% thinner than its predecessor. The first-generation Galaxy Watch Ultra was relatively thick, so the thinner design should make the upcoming smartwatch more comfortable to wear.
