If you use YouTube Music on your Galaxy Watch 4, you will soon get a pretty useful feature. Google has started rolling out a Tile for the YouTube Music app (version 5.06.40) on devices running Wear OS 3. The new Tile makes it easier to quickly start listening to music.

The YouTube Music Tile, which has started appearing on the Galaxy Watch 4, offers a shortcut beside the watch face. It shows what music or album you recently played along with the artist's name and the album art. You can then click on it to resume music playback. You can also click the Browse button to open the app.

If something is already being played on YouTube Music, the Tile shows the current track. Clicking on that Tile just opens music controls in the app. Google is slowly but surely increasing the pace of the development of Wear OS apps since the launch of Wear OS 3, and we expect the Samsung's smartwatches to get more features in the future.

Earlier, YouTube Music couldn't download tracks for offline playback. That feature was added a few months after the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 series. Now, more apps are appearing on the Google Play Store for Wear OS smartwatches.
