Galaxy Tab S9 for $699 in 2024 is kind of a fantastic offer

Samsung changing up its flagship tablet lineup this year meant a few things. The Galaxy Tab S10 series is arguably less confusing because there are now two models instead of three, but at the same time, the entry-level price is now higher because there is no base model.

This restructuring has put the 11-inch Galaxy Tab S9 in an interesting position, where it still feels quite relevant even after the launch of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.

In essence, the Galaxy Tab S9 remains a powerful high-end tablet in 2024, but one that has a smaller 11-inch footprint and a lower price, which makes it a very appealing value proposition.

That is especially true now, as Samsung offers an instant $100 discount. The latter brings the Tab S9's price down to $699. For perspective, the lowest you can pay for the Galaxy Tab S10+ without a trade-in deal is $999, which makes the $699 Tab S9 kind of a bargain.

Remember: The Galaxy Tab S9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, so it is no slouch. It has a gorgeous Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz display and even an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. It offers the same low-latency S Pen experience as the other premium tablets right out of the box, and it boasts an under-display fingerprint scanner. It fully supports DeX and has 45W charging.

For $699 after a $100 discount, the Galaxy Tab S9 sounds like a fantastic proposition in 2024, especially if you prefer a smaller 11-inch tablet over the remaining 12.4 and 14.6-inch models.

The One UI 7.0 beta program will be available for both developers and regular users.
