Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Galaxy XCover 6 Pro are getting this year’s last security update

Two more Galaxy devices are getting the latest security update. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is getting the update in Europe, while the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is getting the new update in Latin American countries.

The latest Galaxy XCover 6 Pro software update is rolling out in European countries with firmware version G736BXXU1BVL1. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is getting the new security update with firmware version P615XXS4EVL1 in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, and Uruguay.

The December 2022 security patch, included in the new update for both devices, solves security issues related to 93 vulnerabilities in Galaxy phones and tablets. The latest updates could also improve device stability and fix some bugs.

If you have any of the devices mentioned above and live in those specific regions, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
