Some expected it to feature a bigger battery, especially after looking at the Galaxy Tab S12+'s battery capacity.

A few months ago, the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S12+ leaked, revealing a slightly higher capacity compared to the Galaxy Tab S10+. This left people hopeful that Samsung would upgrade the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra's battery capacity as well. However, that does not seem to be the case.
GalaxyClub has reported that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra uses the exact same battery as the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Samsung is not only keeping the same battery capacity (rated at 11,374 mAh and marketed with a typical capacity of 11,600 mAh) for its upcoming flagship tablet, but it is not even using a newer battery model number. It is the identical battery found in the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
Samsung will also likely stick with the same 45W fast wired charging speed for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. While users often want their Galaxy phones to charge faster, most rarely complain about tablet charging speeds. Therefore, even if the Galaxy S26 Ultra receives a charging upgrade to 60W, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will likely sit this one out.
Based on past reports, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a dual-camera setup (13MP + 8MP) on the rear, a 12MP front-facing camera, a quad-speaker setup, and a bundled S Pen.
It will come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. A higher-end variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is also expected.
