Exynos version of Galaxy S24 could come to these regions

Over the past month, we’ve seen plenty of rumors suggesting that Samsung is planning to bring back Exynos chipsets to its flagship smartphones with the Galaxy S24 series. Last month, Samsung issued a statement that reinforced all those rumors. According to the word on the street, the Galaxy S24 will be offered with the Exynos 2400 SoC in a few non-American regions. But the question is, which countries exactly would get the Exynos 2400-powered Galaxy S24?

Well, a new tweet from @Tech_Reve seems to answer that question. According to the tipster, Samsung might offer the Galaxy S24 with the Exynos 2400 processor in European and Southeast Asian countries. American markets, on the other hand, will get Galaxy S24 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Snapdragon chips have usually been a bit better than Exynos ones in power efficiency and GPU performance, and customers are expecting the same of the Exynos 2400.

Exynos 2400 could also make its way into Galaxy S24+, S24 Ultra

Previously, rumors suggested that only the Galaxy S24 would come with the Exynos 2400 chipset in a few regions, while the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra would be sold only with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. That gave Samsung fans hope that they would be able to get Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 if they stick to the higher variants. But according to @Tech_Reve, that won’t be the case. Reportedly, the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra would also come with the Exynos 2400 in certain regions.

Since there is no solid proof backing this information, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. But then again, the news seems believable as in the past, Samsung has offered Exynos variants of its flagship smartphones in the same regions. If the information is correct, all that’s left for Samsung fans in Europe and Southeast Asian countries to do is pray that the Exynos 2400 chipset is actually as good as its Snapdragon counterpart.
