While Galaxy S24 users are eagerly waiting for Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 and Android 15-based One UI 7.0, Samsung is rolling out a minor update to their phones. It brings the August 2024 security patch, which fixes 50 security issues.
At the moment, Samsung has made the latest security update available to the European variants of the three devices, which have model numbers SM-S921B, SM-S926B, and SM-S928B. It should roll out the same update to other variants of the phone soon.
The new firmware has version S92XBXXS3AXGF. If you own a European variant of the Galaxy S24, it will soon send you a notification about the new update. If it doesn’t, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to check for it manually.
You can also download the new firmware from our firmware section. Once you do that, use Odin to install it on your smartphone. We recommend you not to take this route if you are not familiar with manually installing firmware as it could be dangerous.
