Samsung has surprisingly released the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea. The update comes with firmware version S711NKSU3BXH7 and has a download size of over 2.34GB. The update also brings the September 2024 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities found in the previous software version.
If you are a Galaxy S23 FE user and live in South Korea, you can now check for the new update on your phone. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your phone.
With this update, Samsung is adding more Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S23 FE. Those features include Composer, language translation for voice recording added to Samsung Notes, Listening Mode in Interpreter, Live Translate for third-party calling and messaging apps, PDF overlay translation in Samsung Notes, Portrait Studio, and Sketch to Image.
You can watch all these new features in our in-depth video below.
Samsung has also improved its stock apps with the One UI 6.1.1 update. These improvements include a new UI for easier and quicker file copy and move operations in the My Files app. You can also add shortcuts on the home screen to important files from the My Files app using the drag-and-drop gesture. You can find the full One UI 6.1.1 changelog here.
