Are the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra even eligible for One UI 6.1.1? Seeing as how they received just a single AI feature with the One UI 6.1 update, we don't think so. One UI 6.1.1 has many non-AI features and improvements as well, but Samsung will likely just bring those to the Galaxy S21 series with Android 15 and One UI 7.0.
For now, the only devices confirmed to be eligible for One UI 6.1.1 are the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z flagships launched in 2022 and later. The Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S9 tablet lineups are eligible as well. The update is currently rolling out to the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, S23 FE, Fold 5, Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 and will arrive on flagship devices from 2022 in the coming weeks.
The September security update for the Galaxy S21 series is available in Europe. It should start making its way to other regions in the coming days. You can identify the update through the build number G99xBXXSCGXH7 and download it over the air from the phone's Settings » Software update menu. You can also find it in our firmware library.
