Android 14 One UI 6 update for Galaxy S21 lineup available in India

Owners of the Fan Edition Galaxy S21 model in India have been enjoying the Android 14-based One UI 6 update for a week or so, and now, those who purchased one of the original three Galaxy S21 models can download One UI 6 as well.

The One UI 6 update began rolling out to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra in India on December 21. It's arriving with a firmware version ending in FWL3 and bundles the December 2023 security patch (the December patch was released to the S21 lineup in a separate update in some countries earlier this week, but India is getting it alongside Android 14).

Android 14 is the third major OS upgrade for the original Galaxy S21 trio and Android 15 will be the final one. The S21 FE, on the other hand, will go on to receive Android 16. All four models will receive One UI 6.1 in the next couple of months once the Galaxy S24 series is unveiled in January.

Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra owners can download Android 14/One UI 6 for their device from its Settings » Software update menu. The latest firmware is available in our firmware archive as well, and it can be installed on the phone with a Windows PC and a USB cable.
