Samsung has released the June 2022 security update to the Galaxy M33 5G. The mid-range smartphone, which was launched earlier this year, will get at least three major Android OS updates and monthly security updates.
The latest Galaxy M33 5G software bears firmware version M336BXXU2AVF2. The new update brings the June 2022 security patch that fixes over 60 privacy and security vulnerabilities, as per Samsung’s documentation. The software update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy M33 5G user in Russia or Ukraine, you can now download and install the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M33 5G a few weeks after unveiling the Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and the Galaxy A73 5G. The phone runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software out of the box. It will get four major Android OS updates in the future.
