We've yet to enter February, and Samsung has already released a couple of new Galaxy mobile devices, including the low-cost Galaxy A03 and the upper-mid-range Galaxy S21 FE. They represent only the beginning, and we can expect a few more models to be unveiled before the end of the first quarter. Samsung has a trio of flagships in store for a February unveiling, and two mid-range phones from the Galaxy A series are also on their way. These mid-range devices were spotted recently in the HTML5 test carrying model numbers SM-A336B and SM-A536B.

As you may have guessed already, these devices are none other than the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G. They share the same score of 474 points, but keep in mind that the HTML5 benchmark doesn't reveal any hardware details or raw hardware performance figures. It just shows what HTML browser features are supported by the Galaxy A33 and A53 using Samsung Internet version 16.

Two new water resistant mid-range Galaxy phones coming soon

More importantly, the benchmark reminds us that Samsung has two new cost-conscious phones coming. So, if the Galaxy S21 FE is not your cup of tea or is too expensive for your taste, you should be getting a couple of lower-cost alternatives before the end of Q1.

The Galaxy A52 was very successful last year, and we can only hope that Samsung will recreate similar results this year with the Galaxy A53. The device also had a A53s sequel which is even better. Check our reviews below for more details.

The same SM-A536B model number that popped up at HTML5 was also spotted in the Geekbench online benchmark recently. The phone should have the Exynos 1200 chipset. As for the Galaxy A33, both it and the Galaxy A53 should have an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, SamMobile exclusively learned late last year.

Samsung has done an excellent job avoiding feature creep when it comes to Samsung Internet, its in-house browser for Android devices. The company doesn't add new features very often, and the ones it does add go to the beta version of the app before coming to the stable version. Samsung tests both major and minor […]
