A few days after the Galaxy A52 5G received access to the One UI 5.1 update, the Galaxy A52s 5G has started getting the update. Right now, the update is available in South Korea, but the company could release the new software in other countries within the next few days.

The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy A52s 5G comes with firmware version A528NKSU2EWB4. It is a big update, so we recommend downloading it using a fast Wi-Fi network. The new software also brings the February 2023 security patch to the smartphone to fix various security vulnerabilities.

If you're a Galaxy A52s 5G user in South Korea, you can download the One UI 5.1 update on your device right away. To do that, you need to head over to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G in the second half of 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update in early 2022 and the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in late 2022.

What's new with Galaxy A52s 5G One UI 5.1 update?

The One UI 5.1 update is based on Android 13. It brings improved stock apps, including the Gallery app that allows viewing and editing EXIF files. You can access that feature by swiping up the image or video in the Gallery app. It also features improved shadow and reflections remover. The Weather app now shows all the relevant information at first glance. It also has a new Dynamic Weather widget. There is a battery widget that displays the battery charge level of the phone and its connected accessories.

Samsung Internet shows common search results between bookmarks and browsing history. In split-screen multitasking mode, the phone shows the most frequently used apps to improve multitasking. You can see other One UI 5.1 features in our detailed video above.
