From this month onward, Samsung will not release security updates for the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and the Galaxy M01. All three smartphones launched between March and June in 2020, so they have enjoyed fairly regular security updates for four years.
The Galaxy A51 5G received three major Android OS upgrades (it launched with Android 10 and currently runs Android 13), while the Galaxy A41 and the Galaxy M01 received two Android OS upgrades (they went from Android 10 to Android 12).
While these phones are no longer eligible for security updates, they might receive an update or two if some critical vulnerabilities are discovered in older Galaxy devices. That doesn't happen often, though, so these phones are likely to remain on their current software version forever.
