Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G within the next few days. Yesterday, their European pricing was leaked. Now, the Indian pricing for the two smartphones has leaked, and we think they could be too pricey for the mid-range smartphone segment in India.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy A34 5G will be priced around the INR 30,000 (around $366) mark in India. The Galaxy A54 5G, on the other hand, could be priced as high as INR 40,000 (around $488). That's a 15% price hike for the Galaxy A54 5G compared to the Galaxy A53 5G (INR 35,000). The phones will reportedly launch in India on March 16, 2023.

If this information is correct, the smartphone could face some serious competition from rival phones that are much more powerful, featuring chips like the Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and the Dimensity 9000. Although the Exynos 1380 is decently powerful, its GPU is not as powerful as the ones in rival chips, so gaming may not be as smooth.

    Galaxy A34 5G, Galaxy A54 5G specifications

The Galaxy A34 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 1080 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It has a 13MP selfie camera on the front and a 48MP OIS + 8MP + 5MP triple rear camera. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

The Galaxy A54 5G has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage. It has a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP OIS primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. It is powered by a 5,100mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

Both phones have a microSD card slot for storage expansion, an under-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G will run Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box, and they will get at least three years of major Android OS updates.
