As you know, Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy S24 flagship series earlier this week. However, the company also appears to have quietly released two new Galaxy A budget phones in the USA for customers who don't want to spend $799 or more on a high-end device.

The Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 have popped up in various markets over the past few weeks, including Europe. Now, the Galaxy A15 5G and A25 5G have finally arrived in the USA.

    Story continues after the video

Samsung's new Galaxy A15 5G is the more affordable phone. It costs $199 unlocked, or you can buy it on a 24-month Samsung Financing agreement for $8.33 a month.

The Galaxy A25 has a higher price but boasts a few improved features. It costs $299 unlocked or $12.50 a month through Samsung Financing.

Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 specifications

Even though the Galaxy A15 can have 4GB or 6GB of RAM in some markets, Samsung has brought the better 8GB variant to the USA.

The device sports the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It also features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display with Vision Booster and up to 800 nits of brightness.

The camera system for the Galaxy A15 5G consists of a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP selfie shooter. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, expandable storage, and a 3.5mm headphone port.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A25 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the Exynos 1280 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

The A25's Super AMOLED display has a 6.5-inch diagonal and FHD+ resolution but boasts a higher refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

The phone's primary 50MP camera benefits from PDAF and OIS. It's accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. It also sports a 13MP selfie camera. Like the A15, the Galaxy A25 has a 3.5mm headphone port, expandable storage, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
