As you've probably seen, the official Galaxy Unpacked teaser video shows two devices gravitating around one another and getting closer together. One device has rounded corners, while the other has squarer corners, which suggests that they're supposed to represent the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note lineups, respectively.
In the trailer, these two silhouettes continue to orbit and get closer to one another until they collide and create a single entity. Their collision creates ripples in their environment, similar to how two colliding black holes generate gravitational waves that travel vast distances of space.
The precise meaning of the teaser is open to interpretation, and you check the videos below and join us in the comment section or our YouTube channel if you want to share your take on the video. To me, the rather poetic 15-second trailer seems to imply that two massive forces in the mobile world — the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note — are about to collide or combine and, in the process, become something bigger than they've ever been on their own.
And indeed, in case you missed the news for the past several months, Samsung is expected to turn the Galaxy S22 Ultra into a Note device by giving it a squarer footprint with a boxier design and a dedicated S Pen holster. Check out the trailer below, and don't forget to also check our other video and YouTube channel, where we discuss the latest and most exciting Samsung news.
