However, this doesn't mean the Galaxy S22 series will get the One UI 7.0 beta update anytime soon, as test firmware are not the same as beta firmware. The Galaxy S24 lineup will get the beta first. Samsung will then bring it to other flagships in a sequential manner in the weeks that follow.
For those other flagships, the One UI 7.0 beta program may not start before 2025. According to a recent rumor, the Galaxy S22's eligibility for the beta isn't set in stone, but if we go by the beta programs for previous One UI updates, the One UI 7.0 beta will likely support all flagship Galaxy smartphones from the last two years.
In case you missed it, One UI 7.0 will bring massive changes to the user experience on eligible Galaxy devices. The user interface is getting a substantial overhaul, which is one of the reasons why Samsung is taking more time to get the update ready for the masses.
