Many Galaxy S24 users want to bring back the old options, and thankfully, there is a way. Unfortunately, it's not going to work for everyone.
Samsung heard many Galaxy S24 users complaining about these changes to navigation UI gestures and brought everything back to how it used to be before One UI 6.1. With one caveat: it did so through the NavStar Good Lock module.
NavStar Galaxy S24 users get a new option to “Enable extra gesture settings.” When it's turned on in NavStar, the old navigation gesture options (including Samsung gestures and the ability to hide the gesture hint) are reinstated to the One UI 6.1's settings menu.
Obviously, the only issue to this solution is that it is available only for Good Lock users, and Good Lock is not available in every market. But assuming you can access NavStar on your Galaxy S24, this is the best way to bring back the old navigation settings. Check out our short video below to see this NavStar fix in action.
