Samsung has slashed the prices of the newly launched Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, and the Galaxy A30 in India. Originally priced at ₹8,490 (~$122), the Galaxy A10 now costs ₹7,990 (~$115), a price drop of ₹500. The Galaxy A20 gets a price drop of ₹1,000, down to ₹11,490 ($165) from ₹12,490 ($180). Lastly, the Galaxy A30 has received a price cut of ₹1,500. It now costs ₹15,490 ($223), down from ₹16,990 ($245). The new prices are already live on the Samsung India website, Amazon India, and offline retail stores. Flipkart has not reduced the prices of the devices yet, but it is likely to do so soon.

To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A30 in India in February, while the Galaxy A20 was launched in April. The Galaxy A10 and A20 are both powered by the Exynos 7884 SoC, coupled with 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB memory configurations respectively. The Galaxy A30, on the other hand, has the Exynos 7904 SoC under the hood, and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage space. All three devices run Android Pie out of the box.

Samsung revamped the Galaxy A series and merged it with the Galaxy J series earlier this year. The company has launched new Galaxy A phones at various price points since then. India already has the Galaxy A10, A20, A30, A50 and A70 in the new A series. The Galaxy A80 is slated to arrive in the country later this month.

Samsung aims to make Galaxy A India's biggest smartphone brand, with a gross revenue of over $4 billion in 2019. And early signs are promising, as it sold over 2 million units of the latest Galaxy A smartphones within 40 days of launch.
