Samsung unveiled The Frame TV concept at CES 2017 earlier this year. The idea behind this product is to make it blend into the background and display artwork. To some, it might look like an actual photo frame at first glance than a TV.

Samsung announced three months ago that it's releasing The Frame TV globally. It held a launch event at a museum or gallery in each launch market to highlight The Frame TV's design and features.

Available in 55-inch and 65-inch models, the TV offers UHD picture quality. Customers can get it with various frame options that range from Walnut, Oak, and White. The TV's Art Mode feature enables it to show exclusive works of art like paintings.

Samsung announced the launch of a new 43-inch version of The Frame TV at its IFA 2017 press event yesterday. It has also partnered with leading art galleries and museums to enhance it further as an art-centric device.

The company has also announced a new partnership with the Prado museum. It plans to acquire almost 1,000 prominent art pieces which customers will be able to access via The Frame's Art Store soon.

Samsung is yet to confirm the pricing and availability details for its new 43-inch model of The Frame TV.

Samsung brings TVs and quality entertainment to EV charging stations

One of the downsides of electric vehicles is that they, too, need refueling, but drivers can't just dump a bunch of fuel in the tank at a gas station and be on their way in a couple of minutes. It takes time for an EV to recharge its batteries. And even though EV manufacturers have […]

SolarCell remote is great but costs premium TV buyers a metal finish

SolarCell remote is great but costs premium TV buyers a metal finish

Samsung's TV remotes went through a few evolutionary phases in recent years, and we seem to have arrived at a point of consistency across different TV lineups. What I mean by this is that every 2024 mid-range and high-end TV model launched so far comes with the same remote, i.e., the SolarCell. That includes 4K […]
