Indian Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge get December security update

The security fixes for the month of November are making their way to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in India today, in the form of updates that are nearly 300 MB in size. The changelog doesn't note any specific changes or new features, so it's unclear why this month's security update is so big, but we'll be sure to update this post should we find anything that wasn't there before.

To grab the update on your phone right away, go into the Settings » About device menu and hit the Download updates manually button. A notification should be popping up on its own at some point, but given this is a security update, it would be wise not to wait. The updates are big, so try finding a Wi-Fi connection before initiating the download.
