SamMobile Recap: Tizen UI demo, KNOX gets more support, Galaxy S5 Prime certified

There’s a lot of stuff that happens in the mobile industry, something that is especially true when it comes to giants like Samsung. If you missed out on some (or all) of what happened in the last 24 hours or so, well, here’s a recap of all the big things that went down.

Samsung and Twitter announced a special Vine app for the Galaxy K zoom, one that will allow users to use the 10x optical zoom on the device when creating Vines. The Galaxy S5 Prime got certified over in South Korea as it stepped closed to launch, though like we said, we have an inkling we're looking at the LTE-A variant of the Galaxy S5, instead of a Prime variant with higher-end specs.

We got a look at the Tizen OS that will run on Samsung's first Tizen phone, the Samsung Z. The US Department of Defense approved Samsung's KNOX security suite for enterprises, giving Samsung more ammunition in its plans to take over the corporate world. Rounding up the day was the rollout of the Android 4.4.3 update to the Galaxy S4 Google Play edition, which runs stock Android and not Samsung's customized version of the OS.
