Qualcomm had very interesting things to say about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC during Snapdragon Summit. The company revealed the CPU core configuration, frequencies, and alleged performance and energy efficiency improvements. In addition, Qualcomm also talked about the chipset's capabilities for mobile photography, as well as the new Adreno 740 GPU with Vulkan 1.3 support. We discuss these details at greater length in our new video, so make sure you don't miss it if you want a better idea of what to expect from the Galaxy S23.
Needless to say, we're grinning from ear to ear, thinking about the upcoming Galaxy S23 series getting powered exclusively by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Even more so, given the possibility that Samsung's flagship might benefit from an exclusive variant of the same chip, presumably boasting better optimization.
Leave a comment below or on our YouTube channel, and let us know your thoughts on Samsung's decision to use a Qualcomm chip exclusively for the Galaxy S23 series. And on a final note, in case you didn't know, Samsung is now the presenting partner for the 2023 Snapdragon Pro Series, which means that the Galaxy S23 lineup should be ready to take on any gaming-related challenge without breaking a sweat. 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Galaxy S flagship phone customers.
