Samsung released the Gaming Hub cloud-based gaming platform earlier this year to great success. It is available for select 2022 smart TVs, but Samsung has big plans for Gaming Hub and wants to bring the platform to millions of other customers. To achieve this, Samsung will add two new cloud gaming providers to Gaming Hub next year and will launch the platform to select 2021 TVs and monitors.

Although Gaming Hub debuted on a limited number of smart TV models introduced in 2022, Samsung now plans to bring the streaming platform to select 2021 TV models and monitors. The company will essentially open up the platform to millions more customers before the end of 2022, at least in markets where Gaming Hub is available.

And there's more. In just a few weeks, Samsung's TVs will be the first to be capable of natively streaming games in 4K. Furthermore, two additional cloud gaming services will be added to Gaming Hub next year. And to top it all off, Samsung TV buyers now have access to Xbox holiday bundles.

Gaming Hub will soon get 4K cloud gaming via GeForce NOW

Samsung says Gaming Hub users will be able to stream games in 4K in the next few weeks. More specifically, the company is bringing 4K cloud streaming through NVIDIA GeForce NOW.

Members of GeForce Now will be able to stream PC games directly to their Samsung TVs at up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. The upgraded 4K service will be coming to select 2022 and 2021 TVs “in a few weeks.”

Antstream Arcade and Blacknut Cloud Gaming are coming to Gaming Hub

Samsung also wants to expand the library of games available on its smart TVs and monitors through Gaming Hub. The company announced today that Gaming Hub will gain support for two more cloud-based services, namely Antstream Arcade and Blacknut Cloud Gaming, in 2023.

Antstream Arcade will offer more than 1,500 games, including classics from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, such as Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, and Metal Slug. Meanwhile, Blacknut CLoud Gaming is a subscription service with a growing 500+ premium PC and console games in its catalog.

Holiday Xbox bundle offers great value

Finally, Samsung announced today that customers buying a new QN85B, QN90B, QN95B, QN800B, QN850B, QN900B, or S95B TV until December 31 receive an Xbox controller and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free.

Although Samsung TVs featuring Gaming Hub allow instant access to cloud games, a gaming input device, such as the Xbox controller, is required for an optimal user experience. This Holiday Xbox bundle ensures that you'll be able to start cloud-gaming as soon as you set up your TV.
