TL;DR

  • Samsung is rolling out a 698MB Galaxy S25 update in South Korea with firmware version S93xNKSUDDZJB.
  • The update does not include a new security patch; its changelog says it only adds stabilization code for under-the-hood improvements.
  • Samsung is expected to expand the update to other markets in the coming days.

Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S25 series. Considering that the company has already rolled out One UI 9.0 (Android 17) and the October 2026 security patch, and detailed the November 2026 security patch earlier today, you might expect this update to bring the latest security patch. However, that's not the case.

According to its changelog, it applies “stabilization code.” In other words, it brings under-the-hood improvements to enhance the phone's stability. Currently, the company is rolling it out in its home country, South Korea. The update is 698MB in size and carries firmware version S93xNKSUDDZJB (via Tarun Vats).

Samsung should release the update for the Galaxy S25 series in other markets over the next few days. Once available, you can download and install it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
