Galaxy Buds On
Samsung has finally provided more details about the US release for the Galaxy Buds On, the company's first open-ear wireless earbuds.
While Samsung has already released the product in its home country of South Korea, customers in the United States will be able to buy it from early next month.
The Galaxy Buds On have a clip-on design with a band that's been developed to provide a secure and comfortable fit. The design differs from conventional in-ear earbuds like the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, which block the ear canal, while the Buds On do not. This makes extended wear very comfortable.
They're also quite light, at just 6.65g per earbud, while also providing tap controls. The Galaxy Buds On provide up to 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge, with the slim charging case offering up to 38 hours of playback time in total.
Superior audio is delivered through the TwinBoost speaker while Samsung's Audio Leakage Reduction technology ensures that escaping sound is reduced. Intelligent Clear Call, coupled with three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit, provide exceptional clarity for calls. Hands-free Ai voice access allows for easy conversations with Gemini Live.
While an exact date has not been provided, Samsung has confirmed today that the Galaxy Buds On will be available for $229 starting early November. So customers in the United States should be able to pick them up over the coming days.
