Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A55 in more countries after releasing it in South Korea last week. The update brings not only Android 17 and its associated under-the-hood improvements but also more customizations and a smarter Bixby, among other additions.

As reported by several users, the stable One UI 9.0 update is now rolling out in India for users who enrolled their Galaxy A55 in the beta program. The new software carries firmware version A556EXXUIEZJ1 and has a download size of over 300 MB. For users who did not participate in the One UI 9.0 beta program, the update could be released later today with a larger download size.

The update could reach more markets, including Europe and the US, in the coming days.

If you own a Galaxy A55 and live in India, you can check for the update by opening the Settings app, scrolling down to tap Software update, and selecting Check for updates. When the update is available for your phone, it will start downloading automatically.

Make sure your device has at least a 30% battery charge left before starting the installation process. Once the update finishes downloading, tap the Restart now button and wait for your phone to reboot.
