A couple of days ago, Samsung released One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy A17 5G. Now, the brand has started rolling out the new software for the Galaxy A17 4G/LTE.
As usual, the brand is offering the update first in its home country, South Korea. It carries firmware version A175NKSU7DZJ3.
We expect Samsung to release the One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A17 4G in other regions over the next few days. You can check its availability and get it by navigating to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
After installing the update, you should see a new design for a few UI elements. Another addition is a location privacy indicator. It will alert you if an app is using your location. If you use Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, or accessibility features, you should see upgrades there too.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A17 4G with One UI 7.0 (Android 15) and promised to offer it six major OS upgrades. So far, the brand has offered two major updates. This means that the phone is eligible to get One UI 9.5 and One UI 10.0.
