Samsung made its Multi Control feature available on more Windows PCs with a September 2026 update to the Galaxy Connect app. The update added support for MediaTek and Realtek Bluetooth adapters alongside Intel.
Galaxy Connect already gained support for PCs from other manufacturers in April 2026, but those computers needed Intel Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware. The expanded adapter support means more people can use features like Multi Control and Storage Share with their existing PC.
Multi Control lets you use your Windows PC’s mouse and keyboard to control a compatible Galaxy phone or tablet. A Galaxy tablet can also act as the controlling device if you connect a mouse and keyboard to it.
Here’s how to set it up and use it with your Windows PC.
Once Multi Control is connected, you can move your mouse pointer from your PC's display onto your Galaxy phone or tablet's screen. You can then click to open apps, scroll through them, type using the keyboard connected to your computer, and do pretty much anything you can do with your finger.

Samsung Multi Control on Windows 11
Moving between screens is similar to using multiple monitors in Windows. You can connect multiple Galaxy devices at the same time and arrange each one above, below, to the left, or to the right of your PC’s display.
For example, you could have your phone on the right and your tablet on the left, then move the mouse pointer past the corresponding edge of your PC’s screen to control either device.
Your phone or tablet continues running its own apps, so you could be using your PC and move over to reply to a message on your phone using the same mouse and keyboard.
Multi Control also lets you copy and paste text between devices and drag and drop photos and other files, though some apps may limit what you can transfer.
For the Galaxy Connect setup, you need a PC running Windows 11 with a 64-bit Intel or AMD processor. ARM-based PCs aren't supported.
Your computer also needs Wi-Fi and a compatible Bluetooth adapter; Samsung specifies Bluetooth 5.0 or newer with Extended Advertising support.
On the mobile side, you need a compatible Galaxy phone or tablet running One UI 5.1 or newer. Sign in to the same Samsung account on your PC and mobile device, connect them to the same Wi-Fi network, and turn on Bluetooth on both.
Multi Control also has an Auto connect option in its PC settings. Enable it to automatically connect to your nearby Galaxy devices when they’re on the same Wi-Fi network, so you don’t have to connect them manually each time.
Once connected, move your mouse pointer past the corresponding edge of your PC's screen to start controlling your phone or tablet. Move it back toward the PC when you want to return to Windows.
