Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra leaked in detail days before launch

Ahead of their expected announcement on October 7, 2026, detailed specifications for Samsung's next-generation high-end tablets, the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, have leaked alongside high-resolution images and color variants.

According to a report from WinFuture, both upcoming tablets are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and run One UI 9.0 (Android 17) out of the box. They also pack LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ features a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 pixels. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra steps up to a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels. Both models come bundled with an IP68-rated S Pen stylus.

Sticking with the design language of their predecessors, they feature an aluminum unibody construction and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Audio and camera setups vary slightly between the two. The Galaxy Tab S12+ includes a dual-speaker stereo setup, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a quad-speaker arrangement for spatial audio.

For photography, both tablets sport a 12MP front-facing camera and a 13MP primary rear camera, with the Ultra model adding an 8MP ultrawide shooter. Both devices support video recording up to 4K at 60 fps.

In terms of memory and storage configurations, the Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to feature 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will offer 12GB of RAM for the 256GB and 512GB variants, and 16GB of RAM for the 1TB top-tier model.

Both devices will receive Android OS upgrades and security patches for up to seven years.

In Europe, Samsung plans to price the Galaxy Tab S12+ starting at €1,299 and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra starting at €1,539. The base Tab S12+ weighs 555 grams, while the Ultra model comes in at 693 grams. Both tablets will also be available in Wi-Fi and Cellular variants at higher price points.

The tablets will be offered in two colors: Gray and Silver.
