Samsung Health Together feature is ending for minors outside Korea

Samsung has been streamlining its features and services over the past few months. After announcing the end of OneDrive integration with Samsung Gallery, it recently revealed the upcoming closure of select camera-related features. Now, the company has announced that it will shut down the Samsung Health Together service for users under the age of 18.

Samsung issued an in-app notice informing Samsung Health users that the Together feature will stop working for accounts belonging to users under 18 who live outside South Korea. The company stated that the restriction is being implemented to comply with local laws and regulations. This change will take effect once the Samsung Health version 7.1 update rolls out worldwide.

We sincerely thank all our customers who use Samsung Health.

We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to the Together service for users under the age of 18 whose service country is set to a country other than Korea.

Details of the change: Users under the age of 18 in countries other than Korea will no longer be able to use the Together service.

Applicable users: Accounts of users under the age of 18 whose service country is set to a country other than
Korea

Effective date: Upon the Samsung Health v7.1 update

Due to this policy change, use of the Together service may be restricted for the affected users in order to comply with local laws and regulations.
