Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
Samsung has released a new update to the One UI Home app on its latest book-style foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 8. It is the default launcher on Galaxy smartphones.
The update carries version 18.0.02.7. However, the brand hasn’t provided a changelog for it. It may most likely contains bug fixes and performance improvements, but it may also have new features.
Samsung seems to be rolling out the latest Samsung One UI Home update globally. To get it on your Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra or the Galaxy Z Fold 8, go to the Galaxy Store, tap on the icon with three horizontal lines on the top-left corner of the display, select Updates, where you should be able to see the update, and then tap on the update icon in the app’s listing or on the Update all button on the top-right corner of the screen.
Speaking of updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, recently, the brand released a software update for them that brought the August 2026 security patch. It fixes 56 security issues, making the phones more secure than before. You can get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. The company is expected to release another update for these devices this month to improve thermal management.
