Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Last month, Galaxy S26 Ultra users started complaining about a red tint appearing on the phone’s display. Samsung acknowledged the issue, confirmed that it was software-related rather than a hardware fault, and provided a temporary solution that involved having the screen colors calibrated at a service center.
The brand also said that a permanent fix would arrive via a software update, which was a huge relief for the phone's owners. However, the company hadn't said when it would release the new firmware carrying the fix. That's finally changing, as the tech giant has provided more details about when the update could arrive.
On Samsung Community, a user shared their communication with Samsung about when the update will arrive. In it, the tech giant says that the fix for the Galaxy S26 Ultra's red tint issue will arrive with the phone's next software update, which is scheduled for August.
The brand says that this update will arrive after the internal version carrying firmware version ZH3 is released on August 20. The details about this internal version may not mean much to users, but this is how the company has explained the timeline for the update.
