Last week, Samsung released a software update for the Galaxy S24 series that brought the July 2026 security patch. However, the brand had offered it only to the three core devices in the lineup, the base, Plus, and Ultra models. Now, the company has started offering it to the fourth and last phone in the series, the Galaxy S24 FE.
Currently, the tech giant is offering the update in South Korea. It carries version S721NKSSDDZG3 (via Mohammed Khatri). Samsung should release it in other regions over the next few days. To check its availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. The latest security patch fixes 57 security issues.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 FE with One UI 6.1 (Android 14) and promised to offer it seven major OS upgrades as well as seven years of security updates. So far, the brand has offered two major updates, and the device is currently running on One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2).
It means that the phone is eligible to get Samsung’s latest Android skin, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), which brings many upgrades. The company is expected to debut its stable version with its next foldable phones tomorrow. Soon after that, the tech giant may start rolling it out to older devices.
