Samsung will release at least two new smartwatch models this year. In fact, recent rumors suggest there will be no Classic model. Samsung's 2026 lineup could consist solely of the Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2.
Those two wearables have now surfaced in another leak, this time revealing details about sizes, connectivity, and, more importantly, color options. Let's check it out.
Starting with the standard Galaxy Watch 9, the watch will reportedly be available in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm, with both Bluetooth-only and LTE variants.
Interestingly, color options will supposedly vary slightly by size.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will follow its predecessor and launch with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE connectivity in a single size. There will be no non-LTE variant.
Interestingly, while the current Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is available in four colors, its sequel will reportedly launch in only two:
Whether Samsung has additional color options planned for the Ultra 2 remains unclear. Either way, band designs and colors — which remain unknown — will play a major role in the watch's overall look.
Samsung should unveil its next-generation smartwatches at Unpacked this summer. The company hasn't confirmed a date yet, but the event could take place as early as next month. Stay tuned.
