Samsung has released new software updates for the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. They bring the stable version of One UI 8.5, which people had been eagerly waiting for. It brings a redesigned user interface as well as many new features.
As you might have expected, Samsung is offering the update first in its home market, South Korea, and to the cellular variants of these tablets. The updates for the base, Plus, and Ultra models come with firmware versions X716NKOU6EZE3, X816NKOU6EZE3, and X916NKOU6EZE3, respectively.
Based on Samsung's software update rollout history for Galaxy smartphones, we expect the brand to start releasing it in the remaining regions in the next few days and complete the rollout in a month or two. To check its availability in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
As for the changes and upgrades that One UI 8.5 brings, you get a new user interface in a few places that makes it look more sophisticated and many new features, which make the phone more convenient and useful. Samsung has also unveiled One UI 9.0. You can read more about it here.
