Samsung has released the second software update for the Galaxy S26 series this month in South Korea. The update was first spotted in the US for multiple devices, and it could expand to more countries over the next few days. It may also bring camera improvements to the phones.
The new update carries firmware version S94xNKSU2AZDE and has a download size of over 750MB. The changelog only mentions improved reliability and stability and the security patch remains at April 2026. However, judging by the firmware version, this appears to be more than just a routine security update.
A previous report claimed Samsung is working on camera improvements for the Galaxy S26 series, and those enhancements could be part of this new update.
If you have a Galaxy S26 series phone, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Check for updates. If the update is available, it will begin downloading. Once the download is complete, tap Install now to start the installation process. The phone will then restart, and the process could take a few minutes to complete.
