Samsung has introduced a major advancement in mobile graphics performance. It has applied the Exynos Neural Super Sampling or ENSS, an AI graphics optimization software, to the Exynos 2600.

This proprietary software reduces the computing burden of the GPU while improving power efficiency and maintaining higher GPU performance.

Future Exynos chipsets to feature ENSS as well

The Exynos 2600 is Samsung's first 2nm mobile chip that's produced using the company's Gate-All-Around technology. The company has used this chipset in the Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung developed the ENSS frame interpolation technology to use artificial intelligence for reconstructing low-resolution images into high quality. The software also uses Neural Frame Generation to predict and generate frames for better output.

This ends up reducing the computational load on the GPU which leads to better power efficiency. Internal Samsung tests have shown that this software delivers clear, uninterrupted graphics even during swift camera switching and in complex scenes.

Benchmark results back up these claims, with the Exynos 2600 exhibiting a 15% outperformance versus its competitors in graphics performance indicators. Ray-tracing performance is particularly improved.

The Exynos 2600 with ENSS ranked first on the leading GPU benchmarking tool Basemark Power Board, showcasing this AI-powered software's ability to deliver stable performance even in intense gaming environments.

Samsung will expand the Exynos Neural Super Sampling technology to future chipsets beyond the Exynos 2600. There's a good chance that we may see it on the Exynos 2700 which will power the Galaxy S27 series next year.
